Grand Caribbean West is the Sandy Key Drive tower of the gated Grand Caribbean resort on the east end of Perdido Key. Built in 1996, the four-story building is a short walk from a private beach walkover with deeded access to the Gulf.
Inside, one- and two-bedroom condos start around 700 square feet. Many are fully furnished and active in vacation rental programs, and plans often include hallway bunks and a private balcony. The 3-night rental minimum suits both weekend visitors and longer stays.
Residents share the resort's grounds with the East tower, including two heated pools, two hot tubs, a fitness center, a library and clubhouse, and picnic areas with charcoal grills. A lake with a boardwalk and gazebo sits at the center of the property, and an elevator serves all four floors.
