Margaritaville

Margaritaville Resort Orange Beach at The Wharf is a highly anticipated waterfront destination bringing Jimmy Buffett's iconic laid-back island lifestyle to Alabama's Gulf Coast, with luxury residences, world-class amenities, and direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway.

Rooted in the music and coastal lifestyle of the late Jimmy Buffett — who grew up in Mobile and spent childhood summers on Alabama Gulf Coast beaches — Margaritaville Resort Orange Beach at The Wharf is set on an 83-acre waterfront property directly across the Intracoastal Waterway from The Wharf.

The resort will span over 80 acres and include more than 400 residences, ranging from One Particular Harbour condominiums and resort cottages to bungalows and waterfront villas. At the heart of the property, a six-acre activity deck will feature sparkling pools, waterslides, a lazy river, and cabanas — all designed for the ultimate Gulf Coast escape.

For boating enthusiasts, a 43-slip transient marina offers seamless waterfront arrival, with stunning views of Wolf Bay as a backdrop. A ferry will run every 30 minutes across the Intracoastal Waterway, connecting resort guests to The Wharf for concerts, shopping, dining, and the nightly laser light show.

Additional amenities will include pickleball courts, an arcade, an adults-only social club, golf cart rentals, nature trails, and indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces.

The first restaurant, "Last Mango," is expected to open in May, with the full resort opening in phases through late 2027 and the complete buildout projected for 2029. The development represents more than $350 million in private investment and is expected to create hundreds of jobs for the region.
