Living at The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse is one of the largest condominiums in Gulf Shores. Completed in 2006, the tower holds 251 residences on East Beach Blvd, with more than 600 feet of private beach.
Every unit has a direct Gulf view. Plans run from one-bedroom units of about 875 square feet to four-bedroom penthouses of up to about 2,400 square feet. Some one- and two-bedroom units add a small bunk room, and some three-bedroom units have wrap-around balconies. Finishes include granite counters, nine-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass.
Amenities include two Gulf-front pools (one with a zero-entry edge and water spouts), a heated indoor pool, two hot tubs, a steam room and sauna, a fitness room overlooking the Gulf, a meeting room, covered parking, controlled access and an on-site management office. Pets are allowed for owners, and the building is known for strong rental occupancy and repeat guests.
In the middle of Gulf Shores
The Lighthouse sits in central Gulf Shores, between The Whaler and Island Sunrise. Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout, the public beach at Gulf Place, and local shops and restaurants are all within walking distance to the west. Gulf State Park and its fishing pier are within walking distance to the east.
